Santa Fun Run
As one of the Mayor’s chosen charities, we thought we ought to turn out at this fundraiser organised by the Town Council. It was 3 miles round Pingle Field and the town centre, on a wet & blustery day, November 2007 – but a great time was had by all!
Carnival 2007
July 2007 saw us entering the Town Council’s annual carnival, this time on a James Bond theme. We loaded up a barrow with gold “ingots” and armed with litter pickers, went as “Green Finger”. We came second in the judging and won £25 which kept us in refreshments for several tasks to come!
