Bure Farm pub
The Bure Farm is the venue of choice when it comes to planning our next programme or having a meal out. There is great seating outdoors if we are particularly "unpleasant" after a mornings work!
Carnival 2007

July 2007 saw us entering the Town Council's annual carnival, this time on a James Bond theme. We loaded up a barrow with gold "ingots" and armed with litter pickers, went as "Green Finger". We came second in the judging and won £25 which kept us in refreshments for several tasks to come!
Santa Fun Run

As one of the Mayor's chosen charities, we thought we ought to turn out at this fundraiser organised by the Town Council. It was 3 miles round Pingle Field and the town centre, on a wet & blustery day, November 2007 - but a great time was had by all!
Green Gym 10th birthday

On Tuesday 11th March 2008 our Steve, & Nina of BTCV, were among several Green Gyms celebrating the 10th birthday at the Cafe Royal, London. Rupert Everett, BTCV chairman, presented everyone with certificates or tee-shirts. There was food and typical Green Gym exercises, amongst other things!
Good Citizens Award 2008
The Town Council Awarded us this in May 2008.
The new Mayor, Cllr Pauline Liddington presented it, with the retiring Mayor, John Couzens being very supportive of the Green Gym, naming it as one of his charities, inviting us to events, and even helping us on a task.
Carnival 2008

This year it was on a Caribbean theme, though the weather was far from sunny! Still, it stopped raining for the parade and events on the field, and we put on a sunny smile. No prizes this time, but the reward came in the participation! The pineapples were donated by Fresh Direct of Bicester.
