Current membership

At the time of writing we have around 6 regulars of all ages: mostly retired/housewives/students. On Saturdays often a different set of people arrive as they are not working. Some people have hardly missed a session, others come once in a while - it's up to you, there is no pressure!

Benefits

As well as "learning on the job" additional courses run by BTCV are available, as well as clothing etc. Subject to sufficient funds these may be subsidised by the group. Courses attended so far have been leadership, first aid, risk assessment. See these lnks for more:

Join us

No experience is necessary and everyone works at their own pace. See how a typical session goes.

Feel free to turn up on site at 9:30am or at coffee break (around 11am), but preferably contact us first, so the appropriate number of tools can be brought, and we can bring a health questionnaire for you to complete. Alternatively, you can print one now and bring it on the day. Also the Registration Form. All tools, training and refreshments are provided, though please bring your own suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Under 16s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Also if there are any last minute changes we can let you know, if you give your name and number. Any data will be kept in the strictest confidence and not disclosed to any other parties.
